Kelly was born and raised right here in Central PA - graduating from Lower Dauphin High School in 2009. For her undergraduate degree, Kelly graduated Cum Laude from Lebanon Valley College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education in 2013. Kelly then continued her education, graduating from Wilkes University in 2018 with a Master’s Degree in Educational Developmental and Strategies. She has been teaching in the Elementary Music setting since 2014 teaching General Music, Band, and Chorus - depending on her position.
Kelly discovered her love of music and instruments in late Elementary/early Middle School, continuing to study and perform in her local Marching Band, Concert Band, Indoor Drumline, and eventually moving on to College level and beyond performance groups in her adult years.
She is a two time DCA World Finalist (2008 and 2011) and a one time DCA World Champion (2008) playing with the Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps.
Currently, Kelly lives in Hummelstown with her husband, Zack, and handsome son - Arlo! When not teaching, you can find her enjoying the outdoors, in the kitchen cooking something yummy, or spending time with family and friends!
